I spent the latter part of last year imagining myself looking pretty lovely in a long, floaty dress, patent ankle boots and a chunky cardi – I think the Guardian did a feature on that particular look and I fancied myself for it! At the time though, there was a bit of a dress shortage (the one featured in the Guardian sold out on the day) for the look. I got one from ASOS that would do but after being wildly distracted from writing about lipstick, I spotted these on & Other Stories (which I love anyway) and thought, yes, they’re the ones we needed last year! But, better late than never. This star print dress is £69 (I think that’s a bargain) and comes in sizes 34-42 HERE.
While the star print is definitely the one for me (there’s a heart print that I really do not like) if you’re more of a floral fiend, this one is £110 in sizes 34-40 (42 sold out) is HERE.
This one is a bit more abstract but the colours are delicious – kind of spring but a bit of winter still. It’s £89 in sizes 36, 38 and 40 (34 and 42 are sold out) HERE. It’s described as oversize and is the full maxi whereas the other two are midi.
& Other Stories has a lot of dresses right now HERE – I’m not even a dress person but kind of love this look.
