London Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2019 kicked off yesterday with the likes of ASAI, Ashley Williams, Matty Bovan, and Ryan Lo, and the city’s most stylish hit the streets donning their most eye-catching get-ups to mark the occasion.
While there’s lots to look forward to this season — Ricardo Tisci will tackle that tricky second collection for Burberry, Fashion East will present the newest emerging talent, and Shrimps are debuting on schedule — there’s inspiration aplenty to be found outside the shows, too.
Our main takes? Hair slides aren’t going anywhere, so invest in a few pearly pieces; neutrals are here to stay, so explore rust, sand, and camel tones; and architectural heels are the way to put your best foot forward.

Londoners love their style but they are at heart are practical people and this outfit says just that – elegant, understated but also, “I’ve got somewhere to be in five.”

Let’s mark this outfit 10/10 for going head to toe in flame orange, 11/10 for layering, and 12/10 for being born with that hair.

It’s been a loooooong winter, so we are very grateful to the supremely stylish women of London for providing lots of delicious and vibrant splashes of orange. Brightens up our day and how divine next to sky blue?

The teal coat, the stylish printed trousers, those wild shoes, accessories for your accessories – it all kind of goes together and doesn’t at the same time. And we love that.

Great trench, great bag, great boots. Boom.

This suede meets snake look has attitude, and so does she.

Londoners are too cool to care, and so is this outfit. Love the oversized blazer with a soft knit underneath, great jeans, architectural heels to add interest, and a dinky bag.

That bad boy leather jacket is doing it for us.

What would London Fashion Week be without a bit of eccentricity? This delightfully whimsical outfit really caught our eye. At first glance it looks like there’s not a lot going on, but the devil is in those neon details.

Leather bucket hat, grape oversized shirt, two types of plaid, and ass-kicking boots – she means business.

One word to describe these two: JOY.

Someone knows how to wear colour. The ankle-length red cardigan is the answer to all our transitional dressing prayers. The baseball cap is a nice, unexpected addition.

Beige is making a comeback and this blazer shows it doesn’t ever have to be bland, especially teamed with a plain white T-shirt, leather trousers, and a silk scarf tied in her pony.

Sometimes the weather works against us in London, but this look proves you can wrap up warm and still be stylish AF.
