Happy Wednesday everyone! Military style boots paired with a military inspired coat today. I’m usually not a fan of big embellishments, but these oversized metal buttons really make the coat. Not only that… the exaggerated lapels, the martingale at the back, the oversized silhouette, all of it together makes this coat such a special piece. Just in case you’re interested in this style, I found a few more options below. All of them have a special touch to them. Whether it’s the trimmings, oversized buttons, cut, silhouette, or length… each of them have elements that elevate them from the traditional look.
:: Best of Military Coat Styles ::
Under $100 :: Eliza J long military coat | Nasty Gal embellished coat | Mango military style coat |
ASOS military pocket coat
Under $300 :: Vince Camuto medallion buttons coat | Zara military short coat | Trina Turk hourglass military coat
A mix of tough elements with delicate details. The military theme paired with soft textures, I coupled the coat and boots with a vintage corset and Victorian-inspired top. Both which are romantic and feminine to serve as contrasts to the structured coat and platform booties.
Hope you’re having a great week so far and thank you so much for reading!
