Uterqüe is hardly a new label—Zara’s grown-up sister brand launched back in 2008 and is a firm fashion-editor favourite—however, it remains a relatively “insider” brand. Like Zara, Uterqüe creates trend-led pieces that look like they belong in any street style gallery, but the pieces are more premium than Zara. The label was initially focused on accessories, and while this is one of our favourite destinations for beautiful shoes and Instagram-worthy earrings, it is now so much more than that.
The spring/summer 2018 collection is particularly strong—we recommend starting with the crisp white blouses and a pastel, light knits. The polka-dot, ruffle midi skirt is a summer party saviour; meanwhile, the diamanté T-shirt has guaranteed cult potential. Keep scrolling to shop our favourite pieces from Uterqüe.
Be it a summer party, christening or fancy meal out, this polka-dot ruffle skirt (which comes with major Ganni vibes) is the perfect day-to-evening piece. Just swap out your leather ankle boots for slingbacks.
Bouji to boot, this shiny, V-neck wrap dress will be your occassion wear saviour over summer. We’re especially into the gemstone buttons – fancy AF.
Uterqüe are going big on pastels in this collection, but if you’re worried about looking too cutesy, opt for this chunky rib sweater. You could even pair it with the aforementioned biker jacket. Worries = quashed.
Just a quick glance at the latest street style ladies proves checks are still going strong. This wrap top will wrack up impressive cost-per-wear figures.
This perfectly fun, diamanté face tee would look great with some straight-leg jeans. We’re predicting Insta cult status with this one.
Every girl needs an oversized biker jacket in her wardrobe. Plus, we can just imagine how good that soft and supple leather feels. Gimme.
White shirts are a summer staple, and it doesn’t get much better than this one. The possibilities are endless: wear with straight-leg jeans, a mini skirt or perhaps denim cut-offs if we’re lucky enough to get a heatwave this year.
Good for those April showers, this pink parka looks perfectly stylish without looking too ‘functional’.
Channel your inner mermaid in this scallop-edged swimsuit. This would look so chic on the beach this summer, or even worn under pale-wash jeans with slingbacks for an evening look.
